Upsampling

Certain new technologies will make this DVD sound even better. The Meridian 861 home theater processor, for example, plans to provide an optional module which will be able to upsample the sound to 196/24.

    The dCS SRC, or sample rate converter, can also upsample this DVD, but currently has only digital inputs, meaning you must have a DVD transport (player) with a digital output capable of passing the 96/24 data unaltered, such as the older Toshiba and Pioneer DVD machines.
